Pyro = Real Deal
I think a bandwagon just pulled up in front of my apartment… holy crap I can’t wait to watch that replay again. That was one serious win!

At this point unless somebody else comes along and can beat that performance, the bandwagon is at my door as well.
Quite a performance by Pyro! I’m still on the War Pass bandwagon though.
I’ll wait and see. It’s only Feb., It’s a long way till May.
I’m not saying I think he’ll win the derby when I say he’s the real deal, I’m saying that in my mind he dispelled any bridesmaids myths. He wants to win. I agree that it’s too early for those kinds of proclamations.
However, I really like him and am not ashamed to say it! I’ve noticed there’s a tendency in some folks to almost dismiss nice performances in derby preps because “it’s too early” (and probably to counter balance annoying media hype). I understand that, but at the same time I actually want to be jazzed about someone.
I agree Dana. To overcome the problems that he did during the race and still have the determination to continue running and to win shows that he has matured. That’s what I want to see, because that’s what it will take to win the Derby with a 20 horse field. A lesser horse might not have been able to overcome it or let it ruin their confidence. As long as his remains confident and continues along this path I can’t rule him out as one of my top choices.
I liked his race too. I just like to not get too excited, because it will cloud my judgment. He is definitely one to watch.
