I always loved this horse. I am so happy for his connections. As I read th DRF this morning with everyones picks I kinda felt like the Horse was the forgoten one. I probaly like him when ever I hear old Blue Eyes sing Summer Wind it reminds me of him-
Now Its a connection. Congrats to all & Kent D-You missed it last year on short Money, but this year it was yours-
I think I will be High off of this years Triple Crown until The Spa Opens up and The Summer Winds will be blowing and unfortunatly those thunderstoms that kick up so often Upstate.

Congrats to Summer Bird’s crew….liked him in the Derby and he will have a nice future….very lightly raced horse. Dunkirk ran a heck of a race…Johnny V. said that he was surprised that he was on the lead because there was no pace. Didn’t he run the half in 47 and change… not bad for a mile and a half.
All you can ask from a big race is that all the big horses make a move and show you something. They (Dunkirk,Charitable Man and Mine that Bird) all took their shot….But as Nick Zito (I think it was him) said, “funny things happen in the last 1/8 of a mile in the Belmont.”
All the horses ran well, came back healthy and now we look forward to the Haskell and Travers.
